Coast to Coast Sustainables is a sustainable and zero-waste company with a mission to provide consumers with eco-friendly products that are made with quality materials and techniques.
Coast to Coast Sustainables (C2C) was founded in 2020 with a mission to provide consumers with eco-friendly and sustainable products that are made with quality materials and techniques. Started by Stephanie Manning and Stephanie Torres in Bellingham, WA after being inspired by their love of sewing and care for the planet to create user-friendly zero-waste alternatives to commonly used products. Almost all of their products can be washed and reused over and over again, making longer lasting alternatives to some other zero-waste products currently on the market.
C2C focuses on what they call ‘REsolutions’, creating a business model that they can feel good about and know they are supporting a healthy environment. They say that they are actively working to create sustainable solutions as their business grows. This includes using upcycled materials, using eco-friendly packaging, and focusing on creating a long-lasting product.
Their products stem from the 4 R’s: REduce, REuse, REcycle, and REpurpose. Titling their reusable alternatives as REtowels, RErounds, REfilters and many more zero-waste alternatives to commonly used disposable items which all come in a variety of colors and patterns. They are best known for their REtowels, a cotton flannel paper towel alternative that can be washed and reused repeatedly. They offer products for the home (coffee filters, bowl covers, sandwich wraps, etc.,) as well as personal care products (compostable cotton swabs, reusable tissues, hair wrap towels, etc.,). They also use a laminated cotton in their food focused line which is an OEKO-TEX certified, food-safe, toxin free, and biodegradable lining that feels similar to plastic.
Coast to Coast Sustainables believes that by reducing the amount of throwaways used in daily life consumers can make a conscious effort to take better care the planet. Their product line provides items to help create a more sustainable home and life, while focusing on creating easy to use products to make these alternatives more user-friendly for all consumers.
