The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership is a book written by founders of The Conscious Leadership Group (CLG) Jim Dethmer and Diana Chapman, along with Kaley Klemp. The book outlines the fifteen commitments that CLG uses to awaken and sustain conscious leadership.
The fifteen commitments are responsibility, curiosity, feelings, candor, gossip, integrity, appreciation, genius, play and rest, opposite of my story, approval, enough, allies, win for all, and being the resolution. These fifteen commitments are a distillation of decades of work that CLG and its founders have done with CEOs and other leaders.
The Conscious Leadership Group believes that unconscious leadership is not sustainable. Their experience has shown them that unconscious leadership can deliver short-term results, but the costs of living and leading unconsciously are great. They believe that fear drives most leaders to make choices that are at odds with healthy relationships, vitality, and balance. As outlined in their book, conscious leadership offers the antidote to fear and the toxicity that comes with it.
The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership serves as a comprehensive road map to guide leaders in the shift from fear-based to trust-based leadership.
