Finland has communicated its long-term low greenhouse gas (GHG) emission development strategy (LEDS) to the UNFCCC. Finland’s LEDS charts scenarios and impact assessments to achieve its 2035 carbon neutrality target, and reviews longer-term emissions reduction and removal opportunities by 2050.
The inaugural SDG Bond is centered around goals 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9. Eligible SDG expenditures include training and subsidies for small and medium farmers, educational scholarships, and hospitals and medical equipment.
The portal provides a snapshot of the state of sustainable development around the world, enable users to obtain GIS training and resources, and teaches people around the world to use the data to drive action on the 2030 SDGs agenda.
Some initiatives taken by the government which enabled the country to achieve this milestone include 10 Billion Tree Tsunami Programme, Clean Green Pakistan Initiative, Clean Green Pakistan Index, and Protected Areas Initiative.

In the declaration, the five countries commit to step up ambition by 2020, enhance their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) for the Sustainable Development Goals, and intensify their cooperation.
